Well just thought that I would in some of the blanks for those that are wondering whats been happening. Life continues to tick along as Winter has arrived big time in Sydney. Today is the first day that it has stopped raining and that is a good thing. Although we have been facing a severe water shortage the problem is exacerbated when it does rain as it has for the last five days because it then floods.

You know the old saying it doesnt rain but when it does it pours ...... guess what .... that is what hit the land Downunder this last week. We have had some incredible weather that has started to fill our Dams (water storage) which is good but also has sent so much rain that the farmers crops are under three feet of water. Go figure. Tell me Global Warming and the damage we are doing to the planet is a myth - yeah right !

Ok so that was me sounding off for the start of the week.

On a brighter note - as the rain cleared up late yesterday and I had been housebound working on the book and documentary (more will be added on that later), I went for a run and took my "exerband" with me to do a few outdoor exercises.

This is one exercise (the lunge) that most people hate. But is a great one for shaping the thighs and butt. I often used to tell my clients that with this exercise the harder you focus and work the better the result you will get - isnt that what you really want - so it can be achieved.

The couple of things to remember are that your goal is to "lower the back knee down towards the ground" and not moving the front knee forward as most people do and then while focusing on keeping your stomach "tense" squeeze your butt muscles on the way up.

Stay tuned for more exercise tips.
